Games Consoles

Games consoles are the latest form of audio visual multimedia which is also used for enjoyment purposes. The games come with many fabulous images developed by a video game console. It can be displayed on a television or equivalent audio-video mechanism. The game is controlled and instructed using a hand controlled device which is also connected to the console. This is called a controller. The controller normally keeps a number of key buttons and directional controls. Each of these is assigned a purpose for coordinating with the images on the screen. The display panel, speakers, console, and controls of a console can also be incorporated into one small object known as a handheld game console.

There are many consoles to choose from and for the most it is personal preference that dictates if you go for a Playstation 3, a game cube or an XBox. Each generation of console offers new features and improved graphics that outweight the previous version. For example the Playstation 3 is far superior to the Playstation 2 with its 3D graphics and ability to connect to the internet for online gaming.
